I’m back!

Sorry I haven’t been here in like over a year! I’ve been very busy reading, lots and lots of books so I have a bunch of reviews I will be doing! Mom is helping sort out my never ending pile. Besides all my reading I’ve also been filming movies and commercials this summer. School starts in 2 weeks, I’m sad to go back but I can’t wait to see my friends! I will be posting new books this week and have some exciting news to announce next week. Happy end of summer friends!

If “Linked”

My mom is part of a group called illustration friday.  I like drawing so much that I have decided to be a part of it too.  Today I sketched what I think “linked” means.

Magic Tree House #4 Pirates Past Noon by Mary Pope Osborne

In the book Pirates Past Noon, Jack and Annie go to their treehouse to start a new adventure.  It was raining all day so they decided to look at a book with islands.  When they saw how sunny it was they wished to go there and the tree house brought them.  While walking on the island they spot pirates who were looking for treasures. The pirates capture Jack and Annie because they don’t want them to take the treasure they are looking for.

I really liked this book, it was a scary and adventurous.  I reccomend this book for all readers who like adventures.

Magic Tree house #3 Mummies in the Morning by Mary Pope Osborne

Magic Tree house books were not my favorite. But I kept trying and really liked them once I gave them a chance.  When you first read it, it may not seem so good but when you read on it gets very interesting.

They have a magic tree house that brings them where ever they want to go for an adventure. In the book Mummies in the morning, Jack and Annie go to Egypt.  They find a Queen Mummy during their trip who needs their help. If you want to find out if they get to help her, read Mummies in the Morning.

If you like adventures I reccomend Magic Tree house books.

Sugar Plum Ballerinas by Whoopi Goldberg

Sugar Plum Ballerina’s is about a little girl, Alexandra, who moves to  Harlem with her mom.  Her mom is crazy about ballet and forces her to take lessons.  She’s very clumsy and doesn’t like dancing.  After being told she will be the main dancer in the Ballet show she gets super scared and doesn’t want to dance anymore.  She has stage fright, but in the end after all her practice and hard work  she does great.

I really liked this book.  Especially because I am in dance and now I know everyone gets scared once in a while.

Junie B. First Grader Aloha-ha-ha

I love Junie B. Books.  They are so funny and really make me laugh.

Aloha-ha-ha is about Junie B. going to Hawaii on vacation with her Mom and Dad, her teacher sends her with a camera and notebook to record all her adventures.  Some of the funny things that she encountered were meeting some grumpy ladies on the airplane, boys who made fun of her floaty at the pool and a bird that gets stuck in her hair.

I recommend anyone that likes an adventure to read Junie B., First Grader Aloha-ha-ha!
